This is the first crackle box/kraakdoos i built. it's a spiritualist-mini-noise-synth created by M. Waisvisz from Steim. The circuit is based on the LM709 op amp, quite hard to find in his metal can layout from the 70's. Sound come out from an 8 ohm speaker excited by 6 tin/lead touchpoints on the perfboard assembled on the box surface (human body is a part of the electric circuit). Crackle box has a 9v power supply so you can play it on the bus or at the post office. The case is a cuban Montecristo cigar box.
